It’s been a spell since I posted a big update here (although I’ve added things to my various pages above), so for anyone finding me here for the first time or coming back to check-in, here’s some updates!
Catalyst won an IPPY Award!
Still blown away that my debut novel Catalyst won a Bronze Medal in Fantasy from the Independent Publisher Book Awards. Thank you so much to the award jury and organizers!!! I’m joining a seriously cool cadre of previous winners (including my friend Sienna Tristen, who won a GOLD for Fantasy a few years ago) and I’m pretty sure the buzz will never wear off.
Find me at Gen Con!
First time ever coming down to Gen Con in Indianapolis, specifically to join the annual Writer’s Symposium. I’ll post my schedule here closer to August, but you can check out the full program here.
Lore Master’s Deck!
I’ve been invited to join the writer’s team for The Lore Master’s Deck, the newest creation from The Story Engine. It’s being crowdfunded right now and has blown past its initial goal, but there’s lots of cool stuff that can be unlocked via stretch goals. I’m a huge fan of Story Engine and The Deck of Worlds, and the fact that I get to write for their next product is bonkers. Stay tuned for updates!
Forthcoming Stories
I’ve also been surprisingly busy with short fiction and new games writing. Here’s a snapshot of what’s coming up. “Hiding Out in Oregon” already came out in the new anthology Nature Erupts, which you can check out here.
Some of these are tentative, so make sure to sign up for my newsletter so you don’t miss anything!
