Big announcement time!
I’ve blasted this on social media and elsewhere, but let’s make it really official. My debut fantasy novel, Catalyst, will be coming next year from Atthis Arts!!! And I’m still trying to wrap my head around that surreal announcement.
Anyone who’s followed my work knows that I’ve been at this writing gig for a while. My first short fiction was published in 2010, while I was still in university, and my first sales came a couple years later. It’s been a wild ride since – more than thirty short stories, a bunch of non-fiction, plus a comic and multimedia work like podcasts and now Bag of Giving – but while I love working in different mediums, novels have always been Goal #1. Getting that has been full of ups and downs, so to finally say, “My first novel is coming out,” brings this bizarre feeling of joy/amazement/exhileration/terror that I hope doesn’t fade between now and Catalyst‘s release.
